Most of the content that you see on SpunOut.ie is available for free distribution with attribution. Notable exceptions include...
ii. Content contributers
If you are somebody who has submitted content to SpunOut.ie and would for whatever reason (or no reason at all) like to have your content removed from the site it is no problem at all. Just email the email@example.com and your request will be granted. If you submitted and article anonymously to the site then we won't be able to remove it because it's um, anonymous.
When submitting content to the site you agree to allow SpunOut.ie to keep whatever content you submitted on a password protected database (in Ireland) until...
SpunOut will NEVER share your contact details with another party, third or otherwise.
The only instance where your details maybe used by a product outside of SpunOut.ie itself is in our mailing list service. We will NEVER just add you to this list. You will always have to provide opt-in consent to be mailed and can be removed at anytime by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or just clicking "unsubscribe" at the bottom of your email newsletter. The mailing list service we use complies with the EU - US SafeHarbour Data Protection Framework. Just so you know.
Also if you contribute material to SpunOut.ie you are defined as a campaigner. We will never approach campaigners directly for money. Only users of the site who donate money to SpunOut.ie or directly agree to be told about fundraising projects will be contacted about said projects. So don't fear us asking for money if you just want to give us your opinion.

If you are a service submitting details to our Help database you too can request that those details be removed at any time. Any inaccuracies are encouraged to be reported as we dislike them as much as you do.
Any information which you provide about your service is potentially going to be displayed on the site so be sure not to add any sensitive or confidential data please.

SpunOut.ie requires Donors to provide certain information to allow it and/or Credit Card Processor to verify the Donor's identity, ascertain accurately the identity and location of the Donee and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations ("Government Regulations").
SpunOut.ie does not disclose nonpublic personal information about SpunOut.ie donors to anyone for the purpose of marketing or soliciting third party products or services. SpunOut.ie may disclose some or all of the nonpublic personal information described above to independent contractors and service providers for the purposes of processing requested transactions. Its agreements with these service providers contain confidentiality provisions and restrictions on using this information for any other purposes.
Access to non-public personal information about Donors and Donees, including transaction history, is restricted to SpunOut.ie employees, independent contractors, or service providers who need to have access to that information to process the funds transfer transactions. SpunOut.ie may also disclose certain information as required or permitted under applicable law, for example, to government agencies. It maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with Irish government and other country's standards to guard its users' nonpublic personal information.
SpunOut.ie do not store your credit card information, even temporarily or for recurring billing. Your data is highly encrypted and stored securely with our third party partner and all that SpunOut.ie Staff can ever see is the final four digits of the credit card number and its expiry date. It can also be deleted completely at anytime. Transactions require connections via SSL certificates to thwart attempts at intercepting your data in transmission.
