Leaving Cert helpline

Confused about your results? Help is at hand.

Not sure about your results? Not sure how to calculate your points? Confused about the CAO process?

Fear not, a Leaving Cert helpline has been set up for students receiving their results to offer advice, information, and support.

The helpline will be staffed by members of the Institute of Guidance Counsellors, who will be able to answer any queries on 3rd level courses, the points system, rechecks, repeats, CAO procedures, apprenticeships and training.

The helpline is open for business on August 17th at 10am. 

The number to call is 1800 265 165 and the opening hours are:

The Leaving Cert Helpline details are as follows:

Wednesday: 17th August, 10am – 7pm
Thursday:      18th August, 10am – 7pm
Friday:            19th August, 10am – 1pm

The helpline for the first round CAO offers are as follows:

Monday:       22nd August, 8am – 7pm
Tuesday:      23rd August, 8am – 7pm
Wednesday: 24th August, 8am – 1pm
