What is it?

It’s the activity of riding a bicycle.

How do you do it?

Cycling involves finding your balance and peddling on a bike. If you learned how to do it as a child, it’ll probably come back to you again but lots of practice will help your confidence.

Where can you do it?

More like, where can’t you do it! Cycling is great because you can do it anywhere, a lot of cities and big towns now have bike lanes which make it even easier to get around.

What do you need to play?

So if you need to buy a bicycle, starting cycling can be a bit pricy but it’ll save you money in the long run. You can get good bikes second-hand depending on what you’re looking for, so shop around.

  • Hi-vis jacket
  • Appropriate lighting on your bike

Who would it suit?

Cycling is suitable for anyone, whether you’d like to cycle to get to school or work or get more competitive and cycling in races, there is a type of cycling to suit everyone.

  • It’ll save you time getting places
