If you want to find a job anywhere in Europe, EURES could be a good place to start.

What is EURES?

European Employment Services (EURES) is a website that matches up employers and jobseekers from all 27 EU member states, as well as Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, and Lichtenstein. It also provides advice, information and recruitment services to people looking for jobs, as well as people looking for staff.

How can EURES help me to find a job?

You can use EURES to search for jobs and apprenticeships across Europe. The EURES Job Portal allows you to search for jobs using a variety of filters, including level of experience, country, job sector, contract type, languages you will need for the job and whether you are seeking a full-time or part-time role.

The portal provides job descriptions, job requirements and company contact information for each role. If you find a job that you are interested in, EURES also provides information on how you can submit your application.

If you set up a free account with EURES, you will be able to create your CV online and make it visible to employers across Europe. An account will also allow you to receive the latest job vacancies that match your skills.

If you need some support, EURES also has advice on finding jobs, including information on the interview process and advice on moving abroad if you get the job.

What is the Targeted Mobility Scheme?

The EURES Targeted Mobility Scheme (TMS) is an EURES initiative that aims to address any challenges that people might face if they want to move abroad to work or train. The TMS can provide tailored financial assistance to cover things such as traveling for interviews and relevant training such as language courses.
