The Young Voices team from the National Youth Council of Ireland (NYCI) is looking for young people, aged between 15-30 to take a survey which will help shape new EU Youth Strategy.

The creation of a new EU Youth Strategy is part of cycle VI of the EU Structured Dialogue, known as Young Voices in Ireland.

EU Structured Dialogue

  • Structured Dialogue is a tool used by the EU to try and ensure that the opinion of young people is taken into account in defining youth-related policies.
  • Young people, youth organisers, youth representatives and policy-makers across the EU come together to discuss the issues affecting young people, this then feeds into youth policy at both national and European level.
  • In Ireland, the group consulted with on these issues is called Young Voices, a delegation of young people which is part of the National Youth Council of Ireland.

The survey

By completing the survey you will to ensure that your opinion is heard and taken into consideration in the creation of the new EU Youth Strategy.

The survey is mainly multiple choice and asks how important certain issues are to you.

Topics of the survey:

  • Changes in education
  • Modern day information overload
  • Combating discrimination
  • Understanding the EU

The survey can be found here and is available until the 9th of February 2018.
