Hi, I'm Lariane Costa Ramos, 20, originally from Brazil and recent Irish Citizen. I’ve been a Galway Girl for most of my life. I'm a new addition to the SpunOut Action Panel and SpunOut in general, I’m very passionate about mental health and empowering the youth of today to shape a better tomorrow.
I value projects like SpunOut because I once was in need of them and can attest to the need and effectiveness of it on a personal level. I hope to make my stay here a memorable one and hopefully be able to help someone, even if it is just one.
My hobbies include too many things to name but my top three (in no particular order) are reading/watching TV, cooking and helping others. I love being able to help people. Who ever they are, what ever their background. Nothing makes me feel more joy than that. I partake in a lot of charity work and fundraisers, sometimes as a volunteer and others as an entertainer and have worked closely in the past with Foroige and co. I adore reading as a past-time. I am slowly but surely starting my own library and without a doubt, Harry Potter is my classic go-to comfort read. I am very much a fantastical girl as anyone will quickly come to know. From September to December most of my Saturday evenings are spent watching Doctor Who. I also fancy myself to be somewhat of a chef and I am always trying to adapt recipes.
Aside from that I am currently entering the world of blogging and vlogging and finding out just how far writing can take you.
See you around x
