A New Government Strategy for Young People: Have Your Say

The Department of Children and Youth Affairs are looking for your input into the new Youth Strategy

The Government recently release a strategy for children and young people in Ireland, Better Outcomes, Brighter Futures. The aim of this document was to make sure that the state takes young people into consideration more and focuses across 5 key areas: 

  1. Being active and healthy 
  2. Achieving in all areas of learning and development 
  3. Safe a protected from harm 
  4. Economic security and opportunity 
  5. Connect, respected and contributing 

Now the Government wants to set out specific plans for 10 to 24 year olds. In order to do this, they want to hear from YOU! Your opinions, experiences and ideas will add into a strategy for young people for the next few years, so grab a cup of tea and take 5 minutes to fill out the consultation form.
