From breakups or bullying, to anxiety, depression and suicidal feelings, our Crisis Volunteers are available 24/7 for anonymous text conversations. Our aim is to provide immediate support in the short term and connect people to resources that will help them in the future. Our service is available to people in Ireland of all ages.

Aware provide support and assistance to people affected by depression, bipolar and mood disorders. Aware has support groups around the country. Helpline and next-day email support service available. Aware have a freephone helpline that is open Monday-Sunday from 10am to 10pm - 1800 80 48 48.

Bodywhys - The Eating Disorders Association of Ireland

Bodywhys provides confidential support, information, understanding and a listening ear to those affected by eating disorders. People do not need a diagnosis to talk to Bodywhys.

The Bodywhys website features a range of resources from a self-help guide for binge eating, a treatment guide, a support programme for family members (PiLaR programme) to clinical resources and information for professionals.

The Bodywhys helpline is available at 01 210 7906 during the following hours:

Monday 7:30pm - 9:30pm

Wednesday 7:30pm - 9:30pm

Saturday 10:30am - 12:30pm

Sunday 7:30pm - 9:30pm

Extern Problem Gambling

Extern Problem Gambling

Extern Problem Gambling (formerly Problem Gambling Ireland) is dedicated to preventing and minimising gambling related harm in Ireland as part of the Extern Group.

They provide low-cost specialist counselling for gambling addiction, as well as harm-prevention talks to schools, colleges and workplaces. They also provide helpline, information and advice services to anyone affected by gambling-related harm.

HeadStrong (Jigsaw) - Head Office

Jigsaw projects across Ireland work with communities to better support young people's mental health and well being. The Jigsaw programme has been developed and supported by Headstrong, the National Centre for Youth Mental Health. Jigsaw works by engaging young people, organisations, families and other support agencies in the community, so that we are all better able to respond to the mental health and well being needs of young people aged 12-25.
