Calling all student entrepreneurs
Applications are open for the Irish Student Entrepreneurs Forum Awards 2020
Applications are now open for the Irish Student Entrepreneurs Forum (ISEF) awards. Students around the country are invited to present their start up as part of the multi-stage competition.
There are several supports available to student entrepreneurs who enter.
Mentorship and workshop
Those who enter will be offered mentorship as well as a structured workshop with Broadlake. Broadlake is a venture capital and private equity firm. This workshop will take place on the 5th of February, 2020. It will focus on developing key business skills.
The showcase event will take place on the 1st of April 2020 at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. Student entrepreneurs will present their ideas to a judging panel of established business leaders and potential investors. This event will also feature guest speakers. They will offer their insight into the world of business and their experience as entrepreneurs.
The career fair will take place at the showcase event. Students will have a chance to meet and network with representatives from a number of leading graduate recruitment firms in Ireland.
The winning idea will receive a cash prize, as well as a mentorship opportunity.

Those interested in entering into the Irish Student Entrepreneurship Forum awards can do so on their website. Entry to the competition is free.
The closing date
The closing date for entries is the 1st of February 2020.
If you want to get involved with ISEF but don’t have an idea you want to enter, they are also looking for students to fill a number of other roles including:
- Event Management
- Public Relations
- Web Design
- Graphic Design
The Irish Student Entrepreneurship Forum (ISEF) is a student-run, non-profit initiative. It provides a platform for student entrepreneurs in Ireland to launch and grow their businesses.
