Rising unemployment and plummeting well-being have been the experience of young people during the COVID-19 pandemic. Young people report being most likely to feel downhearted and depressed, and less likely to feel positive about themselves than all other age groups.

Being Young in the COVID-19 Pandemic’ is a once-off online event that will look at the challenges young people face during the COVID-19 pandemic and how we can respond to them. The webinar will take place at 11am on Friday the 23rd of October, and will explore what policymakers can do in Ireland and across Europe to address the challenges of young people in the wake of the pandemic.
