Alana is a secondary school student from Co. Galway. Her passions include volunteering, sport and the Irish language. She has been a volunteer with SpunOut since January 2021 and is also involved with Rotary Ireland. She plays football, rugby and enjoys running too! Alana is also an underage coach and referee at her local GAA club. She has a keen interest in politics and has represented Ireland at the European Parliament. She was drawn to the SpunOut Action Panel after seeing the fantastic work they do for young people across the county. She was eager to help and get involved. Ever since joining, Alana has been warmly welcomed by everyone in SpunOut and notices a very strong sense of community. She has enjoyed every minute working with SpunOut and can’t wait to continue her role as an Action Panel member in the future!!
