Apply for the Young Art Writers programme 2018
Applications are open until Monday the 13th of August
Applications are now open for The Young Art Writers programme which will take place on the 8th and 15th of September in Dublin. If you are aged 18-25 and interested in art and writing this is an opportunity to learn how to think and write about visual arts in different ways and create your own individual writing practice.
RHA and TBG+S Young Art Writers Programme
The Young Art Writers programme is run by the Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA) and the Temple Bar Gallery and Studios (TBG+S). Participants will visit exhibitions at the RHA, Kerlin Gallery and Temple Bar Gallery and Studios as part of the programme. Those who take part will also visit artist Kevin Smith in his studio, attend a talk by Gavin Corbett, attend workshops by Sue Rainsford and Aidan Wall and view a variety of arts publications.
After finishing the programme participants will have 2 weeks to submit a written piece which wil be designed into a zine and launched at the Dublin Art Book Fair which takes place in the TBG+S from the 22nd to the 26th of November.

To be eligible to apply you must be between the age of 18-25 but no previous experience of art or writing is needed. Applicants will hear back by Friday the 17th of August.
