Is this your first time running? Yes

What are your reasons for running as a young person in politics?

I feel strongly about this country, and the quality of life for everyone living and working here. I’m not satisfied commenting on the sidelines, so I’ve decided to act on that feeling. I want to see public services that deliver for the many, towns and villages we can be proud of, vast modern transport networks, fast broadband for the entire island, and a quality affordable home for everyone who needs one. All of this is possible, but it requires a national and local government unafraid to take an active role. I joined the Labour Party because that a proactive approach to improving society is at its core.

I can’t imagine a more meaningful way to spend my time than in public service doing everything I can to make Ireland a more compassionate, inclusive and progressive place. With a bit of ambition, we can build a truly social Ireland, and I want to fight for it.
