What are your reasons for running as a young person in politics?

I am running to make changes in politics. After the last general election, I felt I wasn’t being represented by any of the candidates elected in the area. There has never been a Green Party councillor elected in Athlone and no women ran in the last local elections. I would like to change this and have a green voice at the table.
