Take part in a survey on the mental and physical effects of COVID-19
If you are over 18 and live in Ireland, NUIG want to hear from you
COVID-19 is the first major pandemic of our generation. It has spread worldwide and disrupted daily life for people living in the affected areas. The impact of COVID-19 is universal, regardless of culture, religion, lifestyle, and race. Because of this there is an urgent need to conduct a multiple country study to see the mental, emotional and physical responses and coping strategies that individuals and communities have used in different countries during this outbreak.
Survey of the mental and physical effects of COVID-19 by NUIG
This study will examine the the mental, emotional and physical responses and coping strategies used during COVID-19. This will include how people maintain physical activity during the pandemic across 14 countries. The results will give researchers important data to help combat future global pandemics.
What questions are asked in the survey?
The survey is completely anonymous and will take roughly 15 minutes to complete. It will ask you how you took care of your physical and mental health during the COVID-19 restrictions and lock down in Ireland.
How do I take part in the survey?
You can take part in the survey here, by filling out the questionnaire in full. The study has been approved by the Research Ethics Committee at NUI Galway.
