What are your reasons for running as a young person in politics?

I decided to run after being involved in campaigns such as Together for Yes and Wicklow for Michael D.Higgins. The people power behind these campaigns inspired me to think that on a local level, everyday people can make a change.

I decided local government was the best place to begin this change, as issue such as housing, public services and planning are vital to the lifeblood of our communities.
