HSE – National Counselling Service

Description

The National Counselling Service (NCS) provides free counselling to people age 18 or older who experienced childhood abuse or neglect, are former residents of a mother and baby home, or have a medical card.

How can people access your service?

The National Counselling Service (NCS) accepts self-referrals from people age 18 or older who:

are a family member impacted by the Stardust inquest,
are former residents of a mother and baby home,
experienced childhood abuse or neglect

They also accept referrals from GP and other health professionals. You do not need a medical card to refer yourself to this service.
