Counselling

Counselling services are available at a nominal cost for adults and adolescents. Services for young people aged 12-24. Offers counselling, youth clubs, Traveller services, group support. Some services have a fee or membership of €5.

Clare Youth Service supports young people through a range of programmes. They offer one to one support, small group activities, issue based groups and workshops, UBU, drug education, Garda youth diversion projects.

Focus Family Resource Centre aims to create a positive environment where people are encouraged and supported to build their confidence, to meet their own needs, access their rights, fulfil their own potential and engage equally in society.

Teach Oscail Counselling and Therapy Centre provides Talk Therapy for a range of issues including anxiety, stress, panic attacks, abuse, and trauma.

Carlow Regional Youth Service provides a confidential one to one counselling service for young people from 12-18 years to help them come to terms with problems in their lives.

The Family Resource centre provides one to one counselling, art therapy and a play therapy service for children which is delivered by counsellors and therapists. The service is requires a minimum €5.00 donation per session.
