The Eden Programme by Suicide or Survive provides a free safe space for people 18 years and older to develop skills to monitor and manage their own mental health and move away from suicide as an option of choice in times of crisis.

Skerries Youth Support Services (SYSS) is a youth-focused community organisation which offers support to local young people and their families when they are faced with challenges in their lives. SYSS has a programme called Skerries Youth Counselling Service which offers a free and confidential early intervention support for any young person between the age of 12 and 24 experiencing challenges to their positive mental health. Established in 2004, the YHS provides health information, supports and services for young people based on their needs and using referral pathways to other services where required.

Togetherall is a free, anonymous online community where you can talk about whatever's going on — stress, low mood, anxiety, loneliness, or just a rough week — and connect with others who actually get it.

Teac Tom provides free, confidential counselling, suicide prevention support, and community mental health services. We offer professional counselling, a 24/7 volunteer led emotional support line, suicide prevention training, and mental health awareness programmes across Ireland.

SRCC provides counselling and support services in Sligo, Leitrim and Cavan for people affected by sexual violence. This includes support for survivors as well as their partners, family and friends.

112 is the “Single European Emergency Number". It works in all EU countries and can be used to call for help in an emergency. In Ireland, 112 and 999 exist equally and run in parallel. Regardless of which number you call in Ireland, there will be no difference and the call will be handled in the same manner.

112 or 999 should only be called when there is a risk to life or property, where there is a crime being committed or the prospect of a crime being committed or when a person feels their personal safety is being threatened.

If you are in any doubt however, call 112 or 999 and don’t presume someone else has.

They offer a range of varied services for the community at Futures In Mind (previously Talk To Tom Suicide Prevention & Awareness.) These include one-to-one, group, and family counselling and therapy sessions. Child and adolescent services, bereavement support and community outreach programmes. Counselling for suicide awareness, mental health awareness, and bereavement support.

Youth Med.Info is a website that provides accurate and accessible information on commonly used mental health medicines. Youth Med.Info was co-developed by a group of volunteer clinical and academic pharmacists, consultant psychiatrists, nurses, young people, parents and children from St John of God, spunout, Neurodiversity Ireland, ADHD Ireland, Childline by ISPCC, Jigsaw, HSE, The University of Edinburgh and Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

The Emergency SMS/Text Service can be used to contact the Emergency Call Answering Service (ECAS) for help by sending an SMS/Text message to 112
