Volunteering abroad
Volunteering abroad is open to everyone. With free travel and accommodation available to volunteers, this could be a chance to visit a new country, make new friends, and have exciting new experiences. There are programmes which provide you with structured opportunities to volunteer with a wide variety of organisations across Europe and lots of support available to get you there.

Studying abroad
Studying abroad is a great way to see another country while gaining a qualification and meeting new people. Lots of colleges across Europe offer courses through English, with flexible entry requirements, free or low fees, and the SUSI maintenance grant available to students studying outside of Ireland, which can help to cover accommodation and living costs.

Working abroad
Working abroad is a great way to open up career opportunities, earn some money, and gain experience. There are a number of supports available to people interested in working abroad, including support with finding a new job, relocating to a new country, and language training if you need it.
These opportunities are open to people with all levels of education and work experience.

To find out more information, use our online chat service. It works just like a WhatsApp conversation. There you will be chatting to a trained Youth Information Officer who can give you online support and advice on the opportunities and supports available to you.

We offer information, advice and guidance about the issues that matter to you. Our online Youth Information Chat service is for 16 to 25 year olds and is available Monday to Friday, 4pm to 8pm (excluding Bank Holidays).
