In a couple of weeks there is a one-man show entitled ‘Every Brilliant Thing’ coming to Pavilion Theatre in Dún Laoghaire.  The show focuses on the central theme of mental health, specifically depression and suicide.  It demonstrates the lengths that we will go to in order to help the ones that we love.  Although the subject matter is rather grim, ‘Every Brilliant Thing’ finds a way to make it delightful and hilarious.

Last year ‘Every Brilliant Thing’ was apart of the Dublin Theatre Festival at Pavilion Theatre and received phenomenal reviews.  The Irish Times noted it as “charming and engaging,” The Guardian went on to say that it is “heart-wrenching, hilarious, and possibly one of the funniest plays you'll ever see,” and the New York Post stated that “Every Brilliant Thing may be the funniest show about depression you’ve ever seen.”  These are just a few of the many remarkable reviews for this show.

The show will take place at 8pm every night from Tuesday July 11th to Sunday July 16th.  You can book your tickets for the show and find out more information about it by either calling the box office at 01-231 2929, or by going online to their website listed here.  Be sure to book your tickets soon because this show seems to be rather popular and will be simply fantastic to see.
