Online registration for Leaving Cert calculated grades is now open
Online registration for calculated grades takes place between May 26th and May 29th
All Leaving Cert and Leaving Cert Applied (LCA) students can now register for calculated grades between 10am on Tuesday 26 May and 12pm (Noon) on Friday 29 May. Students will be asked to choose which level they will take each subject at, higher level or ordinary level. Those who were studying at higher level may switch to ordinary but you may not switch from ordinary level to higher level.
First, it's important to read the 'Before you start guide' so you have the correct information you need to register.
You can then register online at lc2020.education.gov.ie.
Leaving Cert online registration to take place over two days
Minister for Education Joe McHugh stated “The important message for Leaving Certificate students is that they must now register ... to ensure that they can receive their Leaving Certificate Calculated Grades. It is also essential that students confirm their levels at this time so that schools can complete the task of providing information for each student about their expected level of performance in each subject.”
Speaking on the importance of registering he said “Please don’t leave it until the last minute. This is a tight timeframe. We need every student to register so that the new system can operate smoothly. Every school has been sent information on the gov.ie/leavingcertificate portal and how to register, and will be asked to circulate this to students and to parents and guardians.”
