This Thursday August 27th we are running a short online training session on the topic of ‘Supporting mental health and building resilience’. The free training is aimed at those working with young people aged between 16 and 25 who would like to get a better understanding of how to support young people’s mental health and help them to be resilient in their lives.

What will the training cover?

This interactive workshop will cover:

  • Research on the mental health of young people in Ireland
  • Stigma, language and mental health
  • Introduction to resilience
  • Tips and activities when working with young people
  • Available supports/resources

How do I sign up?

You can sign up through EventBrite to book your place. Spaces are limited so early booking is advised. If there is enough interest for another session we will run the training again later this year. The training will be run by SpunOut.ie Outreach and Training Officer, Sinead Beirne.
