spunout x RCSI psychosis campaign
Learn more about spinout’s psychosis campaign in partnership with the RCSI.
spunout’s new Psychosis campaign, aims to give you, our reader, a better understanding of what psychosis is. This campaign was made in partnership with the Royal College of Surgeons (RCSI) and PSI-STAR (PSychosis Ireland Structured Training And Research programme) which is an all-Ireland, cross-disciplinary PhD research training group focused on psychosis.
The campaign includes articles on what psychosis is, the signs and symptoms to look out for, the risk factors for developing psychosis, recovery, treatment, lived experience pieces, and practical activities that might help. The Psychosis campaign highlights how psychosis affects approximately 7% of people worldwide and is far more common that people may realise. But support is out there, and no one should have to go through this alone.
