From keeping track of your good and bad eating habits to giving you ideas for your meals, these apps can help change the way you eat!

Must-Have Recipes from Better Homes and Gardens
This has hundreds of recipes as well as how-to videos. Available on iTunes and Android store.

Healthy Recipes - By SparkRecipes
You can get more than 500,000 recipes on this app and they also have calories/nutritional information. And they say all their recipes have been tried and tested by home cooks so they should be manageable!

Eden recipes
This app has over 1000 recipes that are easily broken down by course, cuisine, diet and ingredients. This one is only compatible with iTunes.

EatingWell - Healthy in a Hurry
From the people at EatWell magazine, this app comprises of 200 recipes that are yummy, healthy and also quick. *FYI this one does have in app purchases to add to the recipes. (Apple only products)

BBC Good Food
There are over 260 recipes on this app that have been triple-tested for health and speed. All the recipes come with nutritional info too.

Simple Recipes
Pretty much what it says on the tin; this app is a family-run food blog. It mainly features meals that are cooked from scratch so can be useful if you have the time to delve a little deeper in the kitchen. On the plus side it has plenty of recipes that cater to a whole range of dietary requirements.

Amazing sandwiches
This app has a whole host of (you guessed it) bread-related food so sandwiches, burgers and pizza. Full of ideas and inspiration to change up the usual sambo, and there are lots of pretty pictures to boot.

Pepperplate.com
This app allows you to manage recipes, plan meals and make shopping lists. It’s available on all devices.

Jamie Oliver
This is available for iPhone and iPad. It has lots of straight-forward recipes that any level of cook will want to try (and comes with a range of in-app purchases for those inclined). 

Food.com
This app comes from the people at the Television Food Network and lets you find recipes, plan meals and ‘score deals’.
