You can go it alone but they do encourage you to get a gang together and create a team, so that you can get a leg up - literally.
Dun Laoghaire - Saturday, 25th June 2016
Being pelted with paint powder while running is actually a hell of a lot of fun. With Djs and live music this 5k feels like a festival so you sort of forget you’re exercising. There is no escaping the ‘rainbow’ so a change of clothes and shoes is a must. The guys behind Rainbow Run are also hoping to put on similar events in Galway, Cork, Limerick & Belfast in 2016.
Valentine Muckfest 2016
Tullow, Co. Carlow, Saturday, February 13th 2016
A fun race that is suitable for all ages, with obstacles including a maze, tunnel of doom, cargo net, great wall, tyre squeeze and muck, a lot of muck. There’s something quite satisfying about running right through puddles and diving under a net in a swamp! The whole family can get involved at various distances and there is a DJ all day to keep you motivated.
